Updated: July 17th, 2023

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully, as they contain important information regarding your legal rights, remedies, and obligations, and in using this website, you are deemed to have read and agreed to the following Terms and Conditions.

The Electric Cycle Studio website allows users to receive information about Electric Cycle Studio, as well as book classes, cancel, and pay for services and products offered at Electric Cycle Studio.

BOOKING POLICY

To book a class at Electric Cycle Studio, you must have a valid class credit or membership to reserve a bike. To buy an individual class credit or membership, you can either sign up on electriccyclestudio.com by using your email and creating a password or if you are already registered, click login to buy a class credit or membership and make your reservation.

Please download the Electric Cycle Studio App to your iPhone or Android before coming to the studio. Once you’re within 100 meters of the front desk, you’ll be able to check into class from your phone. If you do not have a phone, please approach the desk upon arrival and we’ll check you in there. If you do not check in, we may release your bike to another guest 2 minutes before the start of class. DO NOT ASSUME THE FRONT DESK STAFF KNOWS YOU ARE IN ATTENDANCE. Additionally, checking in for other clients is prohibited.

CANCELLATION, LATE CANCEL, & NO SHOW POLICIES

To cancel an Electric Cycle Studio class you reserved using an unlimited membership, you may do so without penalty by cancelling online, via the mobile app, or by calling the studio NO LATER THAN 12 HOURS BEFORE the start of your scheduled class. If you cancel your bike within 12 HOURS OF YOUR SCHEDULED CLASS, or NO SHOW you will be charged a $15 late cancel / no-show fee. If you do not have a working card on file, your account will be temporarily frozen until you update the card on file, at which time the late cancellation fee will be charged, and your account will be reinstated.

To cancel an Electric Cycle Studio class you reserved using a Limited Membership, Class Pack, or Single Class Drop-In Credit, you may do so without penalty by canceling online, via the mobile app, or by calling the studio NO LATER THAN 12 HOURS BEFORE the start of your scheduled class. If you cancel your bike within 12 HOURS OF YOUR SCHEDULED CLASS, or NO SHOW your credit will be forfeited.

If you book for a guest, you are solely responsible for your guest’s reservation. If your guest late cancels or no-shows, you are responsible for the $15 late cancel / no-show fee or loss of class credit, depending on the method of booking. Please be cautious when booking for a guest due to these reasons.

Cancellations via electronic mail (email), Facebook Messenger, Instagram, or text message will not be taken, and you will be charged.

Please be aware that we release bikes EXACTLY two minutes before the start of class to those on the waitlist. If you check in to class via the app and do not come to class, you’ll be charged in accordance with the details above.

WAITLIST POLICY

If you book multiple classes or waitlist multiple classes, you are solely responsible for canceling your classes within the bounds of the cancellation policy. Electric Cycle Studio staff cannot be held responsible for accidental bookings by clients or double bookings or double waitlisted classes made by clients. Late cancel and no-show fees apply if you do not cancel within the bounds of the cancellation policy for double bookings.

The system will auto-populate clients into class from the waitlist as other clients with confirmed spots cancel and bikes will be assigned as such.

Electric Cycle Studio staff will add walk-in, waitlisted clients in the order in which they were added to the waitlist by the computer system, top to bottom, and EXACTLY 2 minutes before the start of class. There is no waitlist priority given for early arrival.

RETURN AND EXCHANGE POLICY

We do not provide cash refunds on class credits, monthly passes, or memberships.  All class packs, and memberships are non-refundable, non-transferrable. If you cancel a promotional membership, we will not be able to reinstate it at a later time.  If you have purchased a retail item, the item must be unworn, free from any marks or stains, with tags still attached to receive a refund within 7 days of purchase.  If you have a circumstance under which you need a refund, please contact info@electriccyclestudio.com with your inquiry.

AUTO-DEBITED CONTRACTS, LIMITED & UNLIMITED MEMBERSHIPS

The following terms and conditions apply if you are enrolled in an unlimited auto-debit contract:

I, the Client, authorize Electric Spin Club LLC dba Electric Cycle Studio to, on a recurring basis, automatically charge the debit or credit card account I specified, for monthly payments due on my unlimited or limited auto-debit plan associated with my account.

I understand that Electric Cycle Studio will initiate transfers/charges pursuant to this authorization not to exceed the amount shown on my auto-debit contract and/or in connection with cancellation fees according to the Electric Cycle Studio cancellation policy. Electric Cycle Studio will initiate charges each month on the date my contract is set to renew.

Electric Cycle Studio may discontinue processing of recurring charges if the Company is unable to secure funds from my debit or credit card I have authorized due to, but not limited to, insufficient or uncollected funds in the account or insufficient or inaccurate information I provided.

Memberships are billed immediately and become active when riders check into their first class.  Memberships will also become active in the event a rider “No-Shows,” or “Late Cancels” their first class.  This will trigger the billing cycle, and process the “No-Show,” or “Late Cancel” fee at that time.  Please be sure to review our no show and ride cancellation policy. Memberships are billed on a month to month basis.

CANCELLING: You may cancel any Electric Cycle Studio unlimited OR limited membership with a 30 day notice. During this period, all dues and charges will remain due and the membership will end after the last paid interval period. To cancel, you must email info@electriccyclestudio.com for a cancellation form. Cash refunds are not available for memberships or unused class credits, and promotional memberships cannot be reinstated.

By continuing to use our services, you agree to the statements above regarding auto-debited contracts and unlimited memberships.

Rhabdomyolysis (hereinafter referred to as Rhabdo) can occur when an individual’s physical activity is so intent that muscular cells begin to breakdown and the contents and/or remaining materials enter the bloodstream.  Rhabdo may be caused by many other systemic or environmental causes.  However, Exertional Rhabdo can occur in athletes of all levels of fitness, resulting in muscle cell destruction.  The skeletal muscle breakdown impairs kidney function as those organs are unable to handle increased enzymes that are released into the bloodstream.  This induces severe physiological changed in the body.  The symptoms of Rhabdo include muscle pain, stiffness and extreme weakness, darkening of the urine, decreased urine output, altered mental status, swelling of the body part involved, either with or without pain.  A Rhabdo symptom is pain out of proportion to the amount of soreness that one would generally expect, often producing pain much quicker than one would expect after a workout.  Guests understand that any concerns on their part that they are experiencing any of the symptoms of Rhabdo require immediate presentation to a hospital for emergency treatment.  Guests acknowledge that no third party, either from the facility or otherwise, will be capable of monitoring symptoms and it is the responsibility of the guest experiencing symptoms to be continually cognizant of the symptoms and to monitor them at all times.  Guests agree that they will remove themselves from participation and seek medical treatment of their own accord should they have any concerns regarding possible symptoms of Rhabdo.  Guests, for themselves and on behalf of their heirs, assigns, personal representatives and/or next of kin, forever waive, release, discharge, and covenant not to sue Electric Spin Club LLC dba Electric Cycle Studio, their officers, directors, representatives, partners, officials, members, managers, principals, agents, employees, subsidiaries, assigns, or independent contractors for any physical injury or illness resulting from exercise at the facility.
